The Town Centre Development Manager aims to provide support for existing businesses, in both the retail and service sectors. Each month a number of documents are produced for retailers designed to give them information and help them to be better informed about the retail sector and developments in their particular town.

Footfall Index – This provides the pedestrian numbers for each of the three town centres. These figures are collated using an electronic counting system operated by one of the UK’s leading companies – Experian Footfall.

Retail News – The Town Centre Development Manager writes about developments in the world of retail that aims to help retailers gain a better understanding of the sector in which they operate.

Town Centre News – Each month the Town Centre Development Manager writes a newsletter for each individual town centre. It provides information about current developments in that particular town and is designed to forge a greater sense of community amongst retailers.
